Sherburn 2nds made a steady but slow start to their innings at Heslerton scoring 30-1 within the first 17 overs until a change of ends for Mathew Webster completely changed the match picking up 7-14, six of which were clean bowled as stumps flew in all directions. John Lay (2-22) supported well to send the visitors back to the pavilion for 56.

Heslerton’s reply almost mirrored the visitors as Craig Mudd (7-33)  almost turned the match but under great pressure Heslerton scraped victory for the loss of 8 wickets in 18.5 overs.
