Heslerton’s miserable run, in all competitions, with the weather continued at Staithes, which only lasted  8.3 overs before rain intervened with Heslerton on 37-2, Sam Triffitt left unbeaten on (20), Paul Theaker claiming (2-15) for the home team.


Division 4


Heslerton 2nds ensured promotion to Division 3 with a convincing 10 wicket victory against 3rd placed Filey 2nds on their pitch at Heslerton.


The visitors had no answer to Heslerton’s opening pair, Mathew Webster (5-24) and Mark Dring (5-29) had them back in the pavilion in 18.1 overs with their total on 60 and it took only 8.4 overs for Ian Dade (29no) and Mathew Webster (33no) to knock of the runs without being parted.
